Return & Refund Policy — Backwash Vtg

All Sales Are Final — Second-Hand & Vintage Items

All items sold by Backwash Vtg are unique, pre-owned, vintage or second-hand pieces. Each item is carefully described and photographed to reflect its true condition, including any signs of wear, aging, or imperfections. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept the described condition of the item.

Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU Law) As required by EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within that period: 📧 backwashvtg@gmail.com

Return Conditions — Strictly Enforced Returns are only accepted if ALL of the following conditions are met:

• The item is returned within 14 days of the withdrawal notice
• The item is in the exact same condition as delivered — unworn, unaltered, and with all original tags/packaging if applicable
• All return shipping costs are fully paid by the customer, including any customs or import fees
• A tracked and insured shipping method must be used — we are not responsible for lost return packages
• The item must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit

Non-Returnable Situations We will refuse the return and send the item back at the customer's expense if:

• The item shows signs of use, washing, or alteration after delivery
• The item is damaged during return transit due to improper packaging
• The return is received outside the 14-day return window
• The condition does not match what was delivered

Refunds Refunds are issued only after we receive and inspect the returned item. If the item passes inspection, the refund will be processed within 14 days to the original payment method. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Legal Guarantee As permitted under Portuguese law (Decree-Law No. 84/2021), the legal guarantee for second-hand goods is 1 year from delivery.
